Job Summary

New Opportunities is presently in search of a Special Education Teacher who is prepared to travel and provide assistance to our students at different community-based sites throughout the week. Occasionally, this individual may be called upon to offer assistance at our custody facility-based sites (Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Clearance will be necessary). An ideal candidate will possess training and experience in instructing and supporting adult students with disabilities.

Requirements / Qualifications

Required: -A copy of your valid California Teaching Credential with an authorization in a Special Education area such as Mild/Moderate.

  • English Language Learner Authorization

  • Bilingual preferred
