Special Education Teacher - Multi-Needs (Anticipated)

Description: Multi-Needs Classroom Teacher

Job Summary: Full-time Special Education Teacher in a Multi-needs classroom.

Teacher will be required to develop lesson plans and must be able to individualize curriculum for students at various grade levels. Complete IEP paperwork and insure that IEP's are implemented accordingly. Perform other relevant duties as assigned.

The Multi-Needs program is a full-day classroom for students who have significant cognitive, medical and/or physical needs which require intensive therapy and modifications to the curriculum to help each individual reach his or her maximum level of independence in all facets of life. Students in the multi-needs classes are supported by nursing services.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Must have Learning Behavior Specialist 1 (LBS1) Certificate and experience working with students with significant cognitive, medical and/or physical needs.

Salary/Benefits

Working Conditions: Nine-month position; regionally competitive salary; salary range credits years of experience.
