Overview

Oradell Public School is a 800 student Pre-K-6 school in Bergen County, New Jersey. The District is looking to hire a tenure track special education teacher.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Successful candidates will:

• Demonstrate the ability to provide special education services to students of varied ability levels.

• Establish a classroom environment that fosters learning and personal growth.

• Support students become effective independent learners.

• Collabroate with related service providers, instructional aides, classroom teachers, and the Child Study Team.

• Generate and measure specific learning objetives.

• Effectively differentiate, modify, individualize, and accommodate for students.

• Write effective IEPs and goals and objectives.

• Apply best practices for both academic and social emotional growth.

Qualifications Profile

• Valid NJ Instruction Certificate with appreical Special Education Endorsement.

• Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods.

• Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.

• Certification in Multi-Sensory Reading Instruction is preferred.

Education

• Bachelors from an accredited college or university in Elementary Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
