Special Education Teacher - K-2Nd Grade Self-Contained (Asap For SY 24/25)

Duties

Special education teacher for a small class of students ranging between the grade levels of kindergarten and 2nd grade.

Qualifications

All applicants should have, or be eligible for, the required LBS1 license.

Salary/Benefits

Salary range is determined by years of experience and educational levels on the teacher contract's set salary schedule, which ranges from $54,464 to $75,964 for SY 2024/25. 90% of the single medical insurance (BlueCross/BlueShield PPO or HMO) and 100% of the single dental insurance premium costs are paid by the school district for full-time certified staff members.

Additional Notes

Per the teachers' contract, newly hired special education teachers receive a $3,000 hiring bonus.
