Byron Public Schools is accepting applications for a Full-time (1.0) special education teacher, K-2 Primary School. Special Education teachers with licensing in the following areas are preferred; Emotional/Behavioral disorder, Specific Learning disabilities, and Autism Spectrum disorder. Other licensing areas will be considered. This position will start August 2019.

Ability to determine eligibility for services and comply with all due process paperwork
Ability to write comprehensive Individual Education Programs
Ability to program for students with emotional/behavior disorders, specific learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, developmental-cognitive disabilities/mild-moderate
Ability to direct the work of dedicated paraprofessionals to meet the specialized needs of students
