Special Education Teacher

Duties

Special Education teacher for K-2nd grade students. Must posses a LBS1 endorsement for grade levels K-2. Knowledge of PBIS and RTI helpful as is experience teaching at the primary level.

Qualifications

PEL with an LBS1 endorsement required. Extremely organized, flexible, and excellent communication skills.

This person must be able to prepare, adapt, and deliver instructional materials in a self-contained setting while collaborating well with general education teachers. The selected candidate will be expected to evaluate students' academic and behavioral progress, as well as, create and maintain student records, and prepare reports relative to the work.

Salary/Benefits

Commensurate with experience and education on the negotiated teacher salary schedule.

Additional Notes

Experience in special education is preferred, but not required.
