We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Special Education Middle School English/Language Arts Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. Qualifications:
Professional Educator License
Special Education Endorsement
Previous teaching experience preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Effective team member
Commitment to data-based decision making and continuous improvement
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
Create and deliver engaging English/Language Arts lessons tailored to various learning styles and abilities
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and staff
Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support student success
Work Year: Teacher Contract
Physical Demands:
Ability to read and communicate effectively with employees of the district.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in either written, diagram or oral form.
Work involves walking, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel or operate objects or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
May be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 20 pounds.
