Administers, transfers, and interprets diagnostic data as appropriate to their area Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to achieve a functional learning atmosphere.

Adapt the curriculum with individual plans and instructional materials to the needs of each student. Evaluate student's academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports. Maintain a program inventory of materials and supplies Submit budget request needs Promote inclusion opportunities for students and collaborate with general education teachers as appropriate to student needs.

Maintain accurate and compliant paperwork for IEP caseload including quarterly progress reports. Maintains open, professional communication with team members (e.g., teachers, principal, parents, related services personnel, etc.) Supervise and direct classroom paraprofessionals Minimum Skills or Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Education from four-year College or university An appropriate and current Arizona Teaching Certificate in the field of Special Education (i.e., applicable to position seeking) Hold a current AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs. Must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
