EDUCATION EXCELLENCE SINCE 1852 Auburn Union School District serves the foothill community of Auburn, located 40 miles northeast of Sacramento on the western slope of the California High Sierra. AUSD educates approximately 1,500 students in preschool through eighth grade at three TK-8 schools (Auburn Elementary, Skyridge Elementary and E.V.

Cain School) At our schools, we stand together to place each child at the heart of every decision. All students will be challenged, engaged, and obtain college and career readiness skills for a globally connected society.

We are currently seeking special education-trained teachers for our in elementary and middle school classrooms. We are serving students with a variety of disabilities for our RSP and SDC Classrooms.
