We are accepting applications for the position of Special Education: Program Manager, RDSPD Program. All applicants must follow one of the following processes:

Process for Out of District Applicants: Out of district applicants are required to complete an on-line application. All requested documents as indicated in the posting must be uploaded to the application.

Process for District Employees: District employees must complete an online administrative application in Frontline. If an employee does not already have an application in Frontline, they will need to create a new user ID and password to apply for the specific position.

Applicants for this position must have the following qualifications and experience:

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university

• Administrator's certificate from an accredited college or university OR eighteen (18) hours coursework in the specialty area and a combination of fifteen (15) course hours in curriculum, supervision, research, tests and measures, statistics, special populations, school finance, leadership/The Principalship, school law, and school finance.

• Texas Teacher of the Hearing Impaired Certification (Preferred)

• Texas Principal Certification (Preferred)

• BEI or RID Interpreter Certification (Preferred)

• Five years of experience in education (Preferred)

• Minimum five (5) years of successful experience as a special education personnel
