Special Education Paraprofessional

Duties

• Provide accommodations for students who have an IEP, 504 plan, or have been identified in the targeted special populations sector.

• Coordinate and administer pre and post tests for all CACC Students

• Prepare techniques and materials to meet individual differences and personal instruction

• Oversee and supervise the Learning Resource Computer Lab

• Tutor CTE students

• Assist with computer-based projects and activities

• Prepare and maintain class lists for special populations for all programs/instructors

• Contact and inform school counselors, caseworkers, and special education professionals in regard to the progress of targeted students

• Prepare year-end reports

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain Illinois paraprofessional license
