Notes: This posting is for the 24/25 School Year. Flexibility to ride the bus. May work primarily with one student.

KITE = Kids in Therapeutic Education - provides services to students with behavioral challenges (mild to severe) within a self-contained and general education setting. Instruction focuses on behavior and academic areas.
Minimum employment requirements:
In addition, a paraeducator must meet one of the following:
Have received a qualifying score on the Education Testing Service (ETS) paraeducator assessment
Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university
Have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university
Have completed an apprenticeship as a paraeducator, in a program registered with the Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council
PLEASE UPLOAD PROOF TO VERIFY MEETING REQUIREMENTS BY PROVIDING A COPY OF AN OFFICIAL COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT OR ETS SCORE. IF ADDING ETS SCORE, YOU MUST ALSO UPLOAD PROOF OF HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA/EQUIVALENT.
Condition of Employment
This position requires completion and attaining of the state mandated General Paraeducator Certificate. The Paraeducator Certificate Program offers statewide standards-based training for all paraeducator/Education Support Professionals (ESP), and supports a career growth ladder for those who wish to advance their career as a paraeducator or pursue a teaching profession.
