Duties

The School District of Beloit has an opening for Special Education Para Educators These positions are for 7 hours a day. These are full time/permanent positions based on 183 days per year.

Candidates should have experience working with children from diverse backgrounds, demonstrate flexibility, patience, and be able to work as part of a team. Required qualifications: High School diploma or GED, an Associate's degree, or forty eight (48) credits, or proof of successful completion of a WI DPI approved assessment (ACT WorkKeys, ParaPro-Assessment ETS, or ParaEducator Master Teacher). A high school diploma is necessary, but not sufficient.

Candidate must hold or be willing to obtain the Wisconsin Para-educator license. Rate of pay is $16.76/hour. Start date is:

August 28, 2024. Minority and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

6.Present proof of physical fitness to assume all the duties of the job (standing, bending, kneeling, etc)

7.Able to list at least 50 lbs.
