Special Education

Rocky Boy Elementary School is inviting enthusiastic and inspirational educators who are committed to the teaching profession to join our team for the 2024-25 school year.  We are actively recruiting individuals with expertise and knowledge in special education and transitional curriculum/programs for students in grade K-8.

  Current IEP caseload of approximately 55 students will be shared between two teachers, with direct support provided by 2-3 paraprofessionals.  We seek to employ candidates who are extremely motivated team players with high expectations focused on academic excellence.  Candidates must have proven proficiency and knowledge in IDEA, the CST & IEP procedures, transition planning and placement, RTI, IEP development and application, and Behavior Plans.

  Salary range of $42,360-$77,826.  Qualifications:  Montana Class I or II Teaching certificate with endorsement in 32A SPE-[PK-12] Special Education or 32E SPE [Special Education PK-8].  District may consider approved Special Education Interns.
