We invite applicants to join our college as a full-time Lecturer in Special Education within the College of Education.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities include teaching online and on-campus undergraduate and graduate special education courses. We are looking for a dynamic faculty member eager to teach, mentor, and advise the next generation of intervention specialists.

Qualifications

Candidates must have an earned doctorate (or ABD) in special education or related field, or a master's degree plus 18 semester hours in special education with related experience. Preference will be given to applicants with broad-based experience in special education across a variety of disability categories to support our current certification programs for high and/or low incidence disabilities.

Experience with diverse populations, inclusive practices, and adapting for access of the general education curriculum is required. The position is a one-year, full-time temporary appointment.
