Position Purpose:

• Under the general supervision of the school administrator, the Special Education director oversees educational services for students identified as having a learning need or disability.

Physical and Mental Demands, Work Hazards:

• Works in standard office and school building environments.

Qualifications Profile:

• Certification/License:

• State of Ohio Certification relevant to position requirements.

• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.

• Must have satisfactory FBI/BCI background check.

Education:

• Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to assignment.

• Masters Degree preferred.

Experience:

• Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade level preferred.
