Service Personnel

Position Title

• Special Education Aide/Bus Aide

• Peterstown Elementary/Middle School

Job Description

• Assist teacher in instructional activities as directed

• share in responsibility of protecting students, equipment, materials, and facilities

• perform limited, rotating supervisory duties not related to instruction

• provide assistance for transportation to and from school and for special school events, positive work habits

• perform duties efficiently and productively.

• Schedule to be determined by Special Education Director.

• In addition to above, candidate must be physically capable of lifting and supervising children as well as special training; if training needed, must be willing to attend training concerning health care matters and of basic/specialized health care procedures and must maintain confidentiality of student's protected educational and health related information.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or GED equivalent
• must pass state aide test
• must be willing to be CPR and First Aid certified.

Salary:

• Base Rate is $25,740
• Salary based on experience and education level per Monroe County BOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.

Effective Date:

• Immediately Upon Hire
