Requirements for Applying

University Intern Credentials, Provisional Internship, Short-Term Staff Permit will be considered Basic Functions: Under the supervision of the school principal, the SDC Teacher provides direct instruction and support services as specified in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) for the special education pupils identified. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Education: Valid California Credential, authorizing service to Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe special needs students is required; Master's Degree in Education or related field is preferred; EL authorization or equivalent is required. Experience: Recent successful experience working with children with special needs and willingness to work with staff members and management in a collaborative manner.

  • Copy of Transcript (Bachelor's, Master's & Post-Baccalaureate Transcripts with Confer Date)

  • Credential Copy (Special Education Credential-Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe)

  • Letter of Introduction

  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 current letters of recommendation within 2 years)
