Special Day Class Teacher 2024/25 School Year

Located in Yreka, California, the Siskiyou County Office of Education provides direct educational programs for a specific student population and financial oversight of budgets of school districts in Siskiyou County. We provide many services including essential student programs and specialized resources to schools on a countywide basis.

We work in partnership with other educational, governmental, and community agencies to bring needed grants and other resources to the students in Siskiyou County. Under the direction of the Principal/Program Manager, the teacher provides an optimal instructional program and learning environment for students identified to receive special education services. Siskiyou County Office of Education's Special Day Classrooms are located throughout the county. One position requires additional authorization for Early Child Special Education (ECSE).
