LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort located directly on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico has an excellent career opportunity for a Spa Manager.

Provides direction and leadership to SpaTerre Staff. Responsible for monitoring

spa facilities, ensuring positive and friendly guest/member/employee relations. Observes all activity within assigned areas, offering assistance and instruction to guests/visitors. Creates a profitable business source


  • High school graduate.

  • Min 2 years spa management/supervisory experience.

  • Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.

  • Provide legible communication and directions.

  • Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers).

  • Ability to:

  • perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

  • promote & market Spa business to local community

  • prioritize, organize and follow up.

  • be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.

  • follow directions thoroughly.

  • understand guest's service needs.

  • work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.

  • work with minimal supervision.

  • maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.


College degree.

  • Experience with computers/ SpaSoft.

  • Ability to input and access information in the property management system/point of sale system/computers.

  • Experience in Hospitality Industry in similar position.

  • Previous guest relations training


  • Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.

  • Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended.

  • Maintain complete knowledge of spa budget and act accordingly to create a profitable business.

  • Maintain accurate daily and monthly reports.

  • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.

  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.

  • Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.

  • Maintain complete knowledge of property management system and manual procedures.

  • Ensure spa staff's payroll is prompt and accurate.

  • Ensure vendors are paid promptly.

  • Ensure staff maintains computer security.

  • Maintain Log Book/Memo Board

  • Maintain notes and guest history in property management system.

  • Maintain communications with spa staff and other departments.

  • Anticipate and prepare for daily/weekly business needs.

  • Inspect reception desk area.

  • Inspect spa.

  • Ensure spa staff is knowledgeable on all pertinent spa and hotel information.

  • Assist spa desk staff as needed.

  • Ensure staff adheres to cash bank procedures.

  • Check posting of charges.

  • Monitor reservations procedures.

  • Monitor VIPs.

  • Monitors wait lists.

  • Research disputed charges.

  • Monitor the spa for undesirable visitors.

  • Maintain and adhere to OSHA/MSDS regulations.

  • Ensure staff's certification cards are kept current.

  • Be familiar with and set up as needed hotel/spa packages, promotions, prices and rates.

  • Maintain filing system.

  • Maintain storeroom pars and monitor requisitions.

  • Sign out employees.

  • Close out end of shifts.

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall execution, schedule, quality, safety and financial success of assigned projects. All applicants must be willing to travel. Must Have: ? Bachelor?s Degree required. Preferably in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering/Management, or other related field. ? Minimum of 5 years of construction management experience in large facility construction ? All projects are from the ground up ? Ability to read and interpret blueprints. ? Familiarity of building codes and their application. ? Knowledge of material handling equipment, industrial HVAC systems, and electrical systems. ? Ability to travel for extended periods of time ? usually 2-3 months on one project. Key Responsibilities: ? The Construction Project Manager is responsible for monitoring engineering and permitting process prior to start of construction. ? Oversee labor personnel on project, coordinating any activities with the Superintendent. ? Develop and manage project schedules at least 3 weeks out and continue to monitor and update the project schedule as needed. ? Maintain equipment log of construction rental equipment ?
