We are seeking a skilled Spares & Service Sales Coordinator for our UV Technologies Division.

The Spares & Service Sales Coordinator is responsible for understanding, meeting and exceeding customers' needs to create value for the customer throughout the order-to-invoice process. Through direct communication with the customer, the incumbent will maintain customer accounts and act in a cooperative and responsible manner to ensure a customer rapport that will encourage the growth of sales and value-added services.

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to)

  • Determine part numbers based on project details and information from customers or Field Service Group

  • Ensure all information in the customer master database is up to date. File all customer correspondence in department files

  • Generate Return Material Authorizations for post-project turnover and follow up with customers on pending returns

  • Provide prompt follow-up with customers to ensure customer questions and needs are fulfilled in a timely manner. Handle all incoming inquiries for parts or service. Proactively sell to customers during each inquiry to maintain sales levels and reach sales targets

  • Quote/sell replacement parts, calibration, on-site field service, and chemicals to all Calgon Carbon UV customers. Advise customers of material availability and order status where requested

  • Report daily activities though quoting log (including quote value, outcome and required follow-up) on a monthly basis

  • Verify customer purchase orders for accuracy and coordinate with in-house Customer Service for processing. Follow-up with the customer when parts were shipped to ensure proper delivery, customer satisfaction, etc.

Qualifications

  • A High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.), or equivalent from four-year college or university (business, technology, or related technical field) preferred

  • 0-2 years of Customer Service experience

  • 0-2 years of Sales experience

  • Inside Sales experience is preferred

Hours of work: General working schedule is Monday-Friday, 40 hrs per week. Flex time is supported, as is the 9/80 schedule

We are seeking a skilled Associate Field Service Engineer for our UV Technologies Division. The Associate Field Service Engineer is responsible for being an active participant in pre-shipment testing of UV finished goods, field start-up functions, field services, and technical support for the UV equipment (including legacy systems) where the primary goal is customer satisfaction through the provision of quality products and excellent field services. Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to) * Install, start-up, performance validation, customer training, troubleshooting, and maintain CCC's UV and UV/OX equipment lines at sites throughout the US and Canada with some other international travel. These are automated units with electrical, controls, and mechanical aspects * As needed, provide inside support for customers and other UV Field Service Technicians who telephone with troubleshooting, parts identification, and other questions * Establish and maintain customer relationships and satisfaction in order to grow customer loyalty and increase the value of CCC Field Services to the customer * Understand and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs, electrical circuits, control loops, instrumentation, and mechanical problems * Ability to independently coordinate and implement day-to-day field service duties within field services and cross-functionally with project management and sales * Provide feedback on equipment issues to the mechanical and electrical design teams using the FSWO database * Other duties as assigned While attempts will be made to keep the employee in the field up to the defined travel level, this cannot be guaranteed due to changing project schedules and other resource loadings. When not in the field, the incumbent will: * support other Field Service Engineers presently in the field remotely, * support the Testing Department by serving as an additional testing resource as demand requires, and * investigate/respond to/solve incoming customer emails/calls for technical support Qualifications * Two-year degree in electrical or mechanical engineering technology or equivalent technical experience. Four-year degree preferred * Previous field experience with electrical controls engineering is preferred but not required * PLC and HMI familiarity, knowledge of control loops, and instrumentation skills * Advanced electrical circuits - high, medium, and low voltage skills * Solid mechanical skills * Customer rapport/relationship building skills * Upwards of 70% travel including some weekends and holidays as required * Physically capable of working in a hazardous industrial environment and obtain 40 hr.
