Great entry level position at Lockheed Martin Skunk Works.

This position will be a challenging role, working sustainment on the U-2 Dragon Lady, as well as, assisting on several ADP programs.

Candidate will be self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and improve processes.

Preferably an educational background in logistics or supply chain management.

The U-2 has recently been given a new lease on life and supply is our customer's top priority.

This position will have plenty of opportunities to work various aspects of sustainment including depot maintenance (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EW7M4CDHIes), supply forecasting, provisioning, kitting, warehousing and expediting.

Candidate will work both with internal manufacturing shops and various subcontractors to communicate program needs and expedite critical parts.

Great opportunity to attain well-rounded experience, in various sustainment duties-the longest term, and most profitable aspect of aerospace work.

Must be able to obtain a Interim Secret Government Clearance prior to joining this position.

A level 1 employee Typically has 0 - 3 years of professional experience.

Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Aircraft Painter Level 1 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale CA. The selected candidate will paint aircraft interior, exterior and piece parts. Essential Functions: * Prepares for painting by masking, stripping, washing aircraft sections and components. * Blends and mixes paints, inks, and coatings to proper spraying consistency. * Must be able to perform detail touch ups. * Coordinates processes for painting production parts. * Required ability to be certified for a half & full face respirator. Basic Qualifications: * High School diploma or GED * Minimum of 9 months of experience painting/surface prep experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing and/or maintenance environment. * Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working overhead * Must be able to access small confined spaces and work in an enclosed environment * The ability to pass Special Medical/Respiratory Exam. * This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret or Top Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs. * The ability to work 1st "5 am - 3:30 pm" or 2nd shift "4:12 pm - 2:42 am" and any work schedule Salary Range: $26.00 - $26.00 Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
