Job Overview:

As a Spare Parts Specialist, you will obtain deep knowledge of spare parts in plant equipment, including component life cycle and parts order analysis. You will issue material requests according to prepared work orders and COMPANY procedures, update the material request register with all necessary information, and update relevant information in SAP CMMS. Additionally, you will be responsible for keeping track of COMPANY warehouse stocks.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

• 10+ years of multinational exposure in supervisory roles related to parts operation or similar positions in oil and gas plants (refineries, LNG, or petrochemical) or during plant erection and commissioning.

• Preferred degree in the mechanical or electrical field.

• Solid knowledge of the computer systems in use in the dealership.

• Good understanding of financial principles related to Parts Department operations.

• Good understanding of pricing principles, including retail pricing categorization.

• A good working knowledge of parts sales techniques and methodologies.

• Proven knowledge of SAP CMMS for materials management.

• Required knowledge and skills to optimise stock parts inventory.

• Solid inventory management knowledge.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Language:

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Skills:

• Proficiency in parts sales techniques and methodologies.

• Strong understanding of financial principles and pricing strategies in Parts Department operations.

• Expertise in SAP CMMS for materials management.

• Ability to optimise stock parts inventory.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Additional Information:

• The position is for expatriates.

• The work schedule is offshore with a 28x28 rotation (12 hours a day, 7 days a week).
