Job Summary
Service Area: Mt. Shasta and/or Yreka, with the possibility of online classes in addition to in-person classroom instruction.
This job includes teaching high school Spanish and possibly serving students through independent study. The EF is responsible for creating and maintaining a personalized education plan for each student. The EF is their student's advocate; striving to personalize curriculum, set up academic support, and work with the parent to support student success.
EFs meet with students and parents on a regular basis to facilitate the student's personalized learning plan. The EF advises and counsels parents and students about educational opportunities available through the school. The EF monitors progress through assessment and documentation in accordance with school requirements.
Duties to include, teaching classes and working with students and families to set up and facilitate independent learning. Other opportunities for teaching classes in areas of expertise and interest.

Requirements / Qualifications
Letter of Intent Resume 3 current letters of reference CA Teaching Credential: Single Subject or Multiple Subject (independent study allows for any single subject or a multiple subject credential) preferred, BA with desire to enter into a teacher credentialing program considered.
Foreign Language:Spanish. Incomplete applications will not be processed.
