Webtoon is a world leader in digital entertainment with over 50 million unique monthly readers. The Content Team is looking for an Associate to join Webtoons Los Angeles headquarters. The Content Team is responsible for the greenlighting, development, creation, and programming of original series on Webtoon. The Associate position, reporting directly to Head of Content, will be an integral part of Webtoons global expansion and will offer an opportunity for growth into a Manager position.

We are looking for a fluent Spanish speaker who is an avid Webtoon reader. The Associate will be responsible for identifying Webtoon series that are suitable for Spanish and Latin American translation, managing translation agencies, and overseeing the process and flow of translated content delivery.


  • Identify Webtoon series for Spain and Latin America
  • Oversee a translation agency by tracking title schedules and key dates for delivery, payments, launch dates, etc.
  • Interface with various departments (Marketing, Finance, Operations) to coordinate information sharing and asset delivery in regards to translated series
  • Conduct performance analyses of translated series


  • BA/BS required
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • At least 2-4 years of related work experience
  • Strong interest in and knowledge of popular culture and current trends, especially in Spain and Latin America
  • Ability to work proactively and independently in a demanding environment
  • Intermediate Photoshop skills preferred
  • Strong Excel skills is a plus

The Content Manager will bear primary responsibility for generating editorial and direct response copy at a high level of quality to support a broad range of marketing and sales objectives for HopSkipDrive. You will play a key role in helping a hyper-growth brand tell its story to a responsive and rapidly expanding market, differentiate HopSkipDrive from its competition, and persuade diverse audiences. In doing all of these things, you will learn more than you can imagine, and help kids realize priceless opportunities through mobility. Your Primary Responsibilities * Understand our core audiences (schools, families, CareDrivers) and key buyer personas immersively. * Absorb brand and editorial guidelines into your DNA and adopt them in your work. * Work independently and with Business Intelligence to research long form content pieces and generate persuasive insights and proof points. * Write blogs, white papers, social media posts, webinars, video scripts, user guides, pitch decks, direct mail, emails, and landing pages that engage audiences, nurture opportunities, and build ridership and lifetime value. * Manage deadlines effectively across a range of active projects. * Contribute to a marketing machine that operates with scale and cadence. * Provide feedback to marketing leadership about brand pillars and core messaging as appropriate. * Assist with aspects of campaign coordination and advertorial content development as needed. Your Qualifications * Required: * 5 years' experience writing engaging editorial and direct response copy for brands * Impeccable and thoughtful communication skills, both written and spoken word * Ability to absorb, mirror, and toggle between multiple audiences and voices * Deadline orientation, organization, and relentless attention to detail * Coachable and adaptable, with a healthy attitude toward edits and notes * Preferred: * Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university * Journalism background * SEO or SEO copywriting experience * Sales enablement writing experience * Nice to Have: * Some startup experience What you will get We want you to be an owner in our company and share in executing our vision, so every full-time employee has equity.
