Spanish, Adjunct Faculty - Onondaga Community College

Job Description:

The Humanities Department at Onondaga Community College seeks adjunct instructors in Spanish.

• Teach Spanish at the College level

• Prepare and present lectures;

• Meet with students as needed to answer questions;

• Respond to student queries (e.g. email or voice mail) as needed, in a reasonably timely manner;

• Write, administer, and grade all student assignments and exams;

• Compute grades and submit them on time

Requirements:

• Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

• For native speakers of Spanish, Master's degree may be in closely related field such as education, teaching or linguistics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Spanish preferred for non-native Spanish speaking candidates.

Additional Information:

Rate of pay is $1,371 per credit hour. 3-credit hour courses will be paid a total of $4,113.
