SUMMARY

Develop facility information ranging from dimensionally accurate architectural asbuilt floor plans to integrated space utilization analysis to Life Safety inventory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform onsite field measurements, documentation, and inventories

Develop and update CAD information based on field notes

Populate inventories based on field notes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Recent graduates with a four (4) year architectural degree or a two (2) year CAD associates

degree, expressing basic knowledge of design & construction principles and being able to read and comprehend basic construction document.

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Working knowledge of Revit, preferred.

VIEW JOBS 12/6/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-06T00:00 Peak-Ryzex is seeking an experienced individual responsible for providing first level support of Peak-Ryzex's Print Applicator and Applicator business including installation, maintenance, technical support, training and repair. Responsible for working with the Senior Product Manager to develop the Printer Applicator delivery plan. Assist the Peak-Ryzex sales force by designing and implementing Automatic Label Applicators solutions. This position ideally is in located in Illinois (Western Suburbs of Chicago) but may reside elsewhere depending on experience. Responsibilities * Assists the Peak-Ryzex sales teams in designing and implementing Automatic Applicator and Fixed Scanning Solutions * Installs, maintains, and repairs complex, high-end machinery operating on demanding production line. Repairs and correct malfunctions as necessary * Work as top-level support person (together with vender support) to provide Peak-Ryzex Customer Service Engineers (CSE) with the support they require. * Develop & perform training programs for Peak-Ryzex 1st Level Response Center, Key Training personnel, and CSE's on all Standard and Semi-Custom applicator equipment. * Create procedure for pre-installation training of Peak-Ryzex CSE's on custom mission critical equipment. * Training our customer/end users on operation & maintenance of our products * Responds to emergency repair calls as needed * Communicates promptly and accurately all information required by internal support functions * Provides high quality customer satisfaction to ensure installs and/or repairs are done properly and in a timely professional manner * Identifies and generates leads for printer and applicator service * Significant understanding of customers business needs * Develops relationship with customer and acts as a liaison to provide total customer satisfaction * Provides cost estimates to PEAK-RYZEX sales personnel (done in conjunction with the Senior Product Mgr.) and communication with hardware and support vendors * Partner with Peak-Ryzex sales personnel and Senior Product Mgr. to drive applicator and applicator service contract sales. * Perform Site Surveys as directed by the Senior Product Manager * Work with the Senior Product Mgr. to develop project strategies. * Development of written implementation & operation procedures Job Qualifications Reads and interprets documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Prioritizes and handles multiple projects simultaneously. Provides critical physical effort consisting of continuously standing, bending, and handling equipment. Performs stand-by duty as required. Exposure to limited amounts of noise and paper dust. Extensive travel (over 50%). Reads, analyzes, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Writes reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Effectively presents information and responds to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public. Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be a problem solver, assertive team player, results-oriented, cares about others, and has the ability to network and be creative Skill and Experience Required Requires knowledge in Word, Excel, & AutoCAD.
