Space Camp-Lower Science Teacher

Summary:

SPACE Camp Yoga/Fitness teachers provide instruction for incoming K

• 9th grade students within the camp setting. Teachers are willing to plan and teach fun and interactive Yoga and Fitness lessons. Hours of work are 8:45 am

• 3:45 pm, with a half hour lunch break.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a classroom setting

• PE/Yoga/Fitness Background

• Teaching degree/certification strongly desired

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited To):

• Responsible for 5-15 students ages K grade

• 9th grade

• Teach and support students in specific courses they are teaching

• Create and implement curriculum related to course subject or theme

• Coordinate and collaborate with special education staff to support students with disabilities

• Consistent, reliable and punctual attendance is essential for supervision and instruction of the students

• Responsible for implementing "other job-related duties" as needed

• Work is performed in a school/classroom environment, as well as outdoors. The noise level in the environment is usually moderate.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch and/or kneel.
