POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for providing exceptional guest service to all resort guests. Directs workflow and daily operations at the spa front desk.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for the greeting of all guests, answering phones, booking appointments, up selling treatments, checking the guests into the computer system after appropriate paperwork is filled out and processed.

  • Processes payments for services, assisting guests with questions regarding spa services and products.

  • Facilitates new guest orientation and escorts guests to treatment areas.

  • Picks up locker room, relaxation and spa areas. Collects, delivers and picks up laundry from laundry area and restocks rooms and spas with clean linens and towels.

  • Receives new inventory for sale.

  • Remains current on all promotions and special events within the resort.

  • Adheres to all department and resort policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.

  • Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.

  • Reports all guest's requests, concerns, complaints, and suggestions quickly, efficiently and courteously in a continuous effort to provide exceptional guest service.

  • Provides spa guests with a comfortable and relaxing experience while ensuring the utmost safety for the guest.

  • Maintains the Spa Reception Area and other work areas keeping them neat and clean.

  • Upholds the resort's commitment to unforgettable guest service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.

  • 1 year of experience in guest service environment and 1 year of experience in retail sales.

  • Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and guest relations skills.

  • Clerical and administrative experience required.

  • Able to read and comprehend written instructions.

  • Detail oriented and have the ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to be efficient and productive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Enjoy working with people.

  • Must be a team player.

  • Understand and adhere to safety policies and sanitization standards required by State of Oregon Board of Cosmetology and River Rock Spa.

  • 21 years of age or older.

  • Current OLCC license required.

  • Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License.

  • Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times (specific standards available).

VIEW JOBS 4/14/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-13T00:00 POSITION PURPOSE: Operates laundry machines, iron, and dryers to provide clean linens, toweling, cleaning rags, table rags, table linens, restaurant towels for the Resort. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Sorts and weighs incoming laundry according to established criteria and procedures. * Pre-treats stains and washes laundry using machinery, equipment, detergents, fabric softeners and other laundry aids. * Counts and sorts outside linen from motels. * Dry and folds toweling, blankets, comforters and pre-dry linens for proper ironing. * Press and iron all sheets, pillowcases and table linens. Hang white linens on hangers. Distributes all hotel linens to proper linen closets. * Monitors machines and equipment to detect and report malfunctions to supervisor. * Cleans floors and machinery at the end of the shift, maintaining a clean work area. * Due to nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. * Demonstrates effective communication skills, both verbal and written, when applicable. Makes sure that communications are clear, concise, complete and accurate. * Displays behavior that enhances the image of the resort as evidenced by professional and courteous behavior towards all customers including co-workers. * Fosters a sense of teamwork and collaboration within the department and property by demonstrating respect for others judgement and capabilities, and gives praise/recognition to those who earn it. * Willingly accepts suggestions for improvement and takes the instructions without defensiveness and strives to correct the situation. Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department. * Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis. QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma or GED Certificate. * 6 months to 1 year experience in a laundry or a service operation required. * Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relation's skills * Able to read and comprehend written instructions. * Ability to work independently. * Must be 18 years of age or older. * Must be able to obtain a Class I Gaming License * Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times.
