Job Description:

As the Spa Manager & Licensed Massage Therapist at Parkland Golf and Country Club, you will lead the spa team in delivering exceptional services while also providing top-notch massage therapy treatments to our esteemed clientele. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for wellness, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Spa Management:

Lead and oversee the daily operations of the spa, including staff management, scheduling, inventory control, and guest relations.

Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance spa offerings, increase revenue, and exceed guest expectations.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements.

Foster a positive work environment by providing guidance, support, and training to spa staff.

Client Services:

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, conducting consultations, and tailoring massage therapy treatments to meet individual needs.

Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy, with skill and precision.

Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy, recommend follow-up treatments, and promote wellness initiatives.

Training and Development:

Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of spa staff.

Provide feedback, coaching, and support to therapists to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.

Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and advancements in massage therapy.

Qualifications:

Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist.

Previous experience in spa management or a supervisory role is preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong leadership abilities with a positive attitude and a focus on teamwork.

Organizational skills with attention to detail.

Proficiency in computer software for scheduling and inventory management.
