Job Summary:

Greets guests to a luxurious spa environment, maintains guest and group accounts, assists with facility orientation and actively works to provide guests with a relaxing spa experience. Responsible for ensuring complete client and member satisfaction by providing full guidance and consultation in scheduling, confirmation, and check-out procedures. Maintains clean and organized work areas and well-stocked supply of products. Provides guests with locker, robe/slippers and tour of spa facilities as needed. Typically requires one year related experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Have complete knowledge of all Spa Services, Packages, Promotions, and retail products presently offered by the spa.

  • Maintains professional relationships with spa clientele.

  • Schedule all spa and fitness services.

  • Conduct closing shift reports and reconcile all cash, credit card, and room charges, account for any discrepancies.

  • Greet guests, answer incoming telephone calls, and book appointments.

  • Keep work areas clean and organized according to standards.

  • Promote all spa programs/activities by discussing other department areas that may assist guests with a total resort experience. Must keep current with spa calendar programs, events and activities.

  • Walk through spa facility ensure proper supplies and amenities in locker rooms and relaxation lounge.

  • Understand and use universal precautions and sanitary procedures.

  • Maintain storage areas to ensure cleanliness, freshness, and organization.

  • Frequent checks of equipment and facility to ensure safety and prevent loss of equipment and/or injury to users.

  • Assist with guest follow up concerning retail requests.

  • Attend departmental meetings as scheduled by spa management and/or resort management.

  • Be familiar with all resort services/ features and local attractions to respond to guest inquiries.

  • Complies with all Resort policies, procedures and standards of operation.

  • Performs any additional tasks or projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: College Degree in hospitality or business related field preferred.

  • Computer Operations: Word, Excel, Outlook preferred.

  • Licenses or Accreditations: CPR certification preferred.

  • Previous Work Experience: One year experience in the Medical, Salon or the Spa industry.

  • Previous Supervisory Experience

  • Language Ability: Ability to effectively present detailed information both verbally and in written form to guests and employees throughout the organization.

  • Other: Bilingual in Spanish

Reach Your Peak.   The Bartender is responsible for ensuring that all Resort guests have the highest quality beverage/bar experience possible while maintaining a profitable department that is environmentally responsible. He / She is required to follow the brand standards from the beginning of the service cycle through the entire process, and will exhibit strong beverage/wine knowledge, professional and gracious service while enhancing the guest experience through outstanding service skills.   This position is expected to handle all opening and/or closing duties required to properly operate any resort bar, service bar or banquet bar. Some of those duties include; making sure that all stocking is done, the back bar is displayed according to standards, wells are filled with ice and the bar/lounge area is clean and ready for service.  An ideal candidate should be capable of multi-tasking and working at a fast, but thorough pace. He / She should be able to partner well with other bartenders, servers and bar backs to provide a "seamless experience" for guests. This individual is also responsible for various administrative tasks up to and including: maintaining par levels, submitting daily/weekly orders, and conducts daily/weekly inventory. Other duties as assigned.   Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Ensures smooth, efficient and sanitary bar operations, as well as cash handling and providing change for the servers.  * Must be knowledgeable in the preparation of various alcoholic beverages including mixed drinks, wine, and beer. * Must be knowledgeable in the preparation of all food and alcohol menu items. * Must maintain stock levels throughout the day. * Learns the names and personally recognizes regulars and hotel guests. * Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages. * Clear and reset tables in bar area. * Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas. * Be available to fill in as needed as a server to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.   Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. -required   * Must have a friendly and courteous attitude towards guests - required. * Current TIPS certification for responsible service of alcohol. -required * Minimum of 1 year experience as a bartender in an upscale Food & Beverage hotel/resort. -preferred * Knows common drink recipes and is able to learn and apply all menu recipes within short time. -required * Must be able to effectively present detailed information both verbally and in written form to guests and fellow employees. -required * Ability to read and comprehend complex correspondence. -required  * Must be able to communicate effectively in English both written and verbal. -required * Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. -required * Experienced in all phases of Beverage operations. -preferred  * Point of Sales experience. –preferred   Benefits include:  * Free Ski passes for employees and dependents  * Discount lift tickets for friends and family  * Free ski lessons  * Discounted lodging, food, gear and mountain shuttles  * Discounted bike haul & golf  * Medical, Dental, and Vision plans (full-time positions)  * 401(k) Retirement Plan  * Excellent training and professional development    Be a part of the resort where it all started.
