The Core Capabilities of S&P Practice combines the broad focus of Operational Strategy with the deep expertise in indirect and direct material categories, strong procurement analytics skills driven by the next wave digital and technology initiatives.

Role Details:

  • Drive client value creation

  • Establish self as a trusted advisor with the client C-suite through an in-depth understanding of the client as well as industry

  • Understand the client's business, priorities, and leadership agenda

  • Co-create with the client the transformation journey and drive innovation agenda for the client

  • Build networks at Accenture to be able to bring the best of Accenture to the client

  • Lead Program Delivery

  • Lead and deliver Sourcing & Procurement Digital (Platform led) transformation projects, Procurement Operating Model design and Transformation initiatives, working with mid to large sized teams

  • Coach team members on activities such as as-is process and maturity assessment, technology evaluation, opportunity identification, business case and roadmap creation and implementation of recommendation

  • Grow the business

  • Drive sales, revenue, and profitability for the practice

  • Help originate deals based on defined commercial pathways; drive innovative deal construct and solutioning to grow business

  • Align the right teams or capabilities to enable (sell or deliver) successful transformation/innovation agenda

  • Develop Thought Leadership and Assets

  • Lead/ Support development of cutting-edge points of view/articles that drive Accenture equity in the market

  • Design and build assets that distinguish Accenture capabilities to drive additional business

Travel:

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years in a Top tier Consulting firm or in a Sourcing & Procurement Function in Consumer Goods/ Pharmaceuticals/ Hi-Tech/ E-Commerce/ Automotive/ Oil & Gas industry

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with digital sourcing & procurement solutions (Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Zycus, Jaggaer, GEP etc.) and 2 years of experience in implementation programs

  • Certification in Digital Procurement Solutions in one or more of the following: Ivalua, Coupa, GEP, Zycus, or Jaggaer

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in Consulting and/or leading mid-large sized teams on large scale sourcing & procurement projects spanning across one or more of the following: strategic cost reduction, sourcing optimization, procurement transformation, intelligent procurement, responsible & resilient procurement, mergers & acquisitions

  • Strong presentation and client relationship management skills

  • Master's degree in Business Management or Operations Management, or Engineering Degree from Premier Institutes

  • Highly proficient in using MS Excel, Word and PPT

Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $150,000-$210,000 and information on benefits offered is here.
