SOX IT Manager
In this position, you will responsible for managing and coordinating all IT related activities within the Bank's SOX compliance program. Ensuring project goals, deliverables and milestones are accomplished. Act as liaison to business users and clients to ensure SOX IT objectives are met throughout the Bank. Monitor and implements best practices using technical expertise of IT systems, applications and platforms relevant to financial reporting, including consideration of risks in such systems that may impact the preparation of accurate financial statements.
Primary responsibilities include:
Manage IT Sox testing to program guidelines and milestones and in accordance with external audit deliverables.
Evaluate and track control deficiencies, develop remediation plans and monitor their execution.
Track and monitor any new system implementations to help ensure internal controls are considered throughout the project; assist in creating documentation around implementations.
Participate in meetings to update management on IT remediation, documentation and testing execution and testing results.
Minimum of 5 years in information technology compliance; commercial banking experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required. Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) designation preferred.
Acute knowledge of major computing platforms as well as IT security concepts, database management systems, system development life cycle, IT general controls, IT risk assessment.
Strong oral and written communication skills necessary to document work papers, draft reports and communicate to management.
Well organized with the ability to multi-task and handle and digest large amounts of information from a variety of sources; meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.
