Job Summary

Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center) in downtown Los Angeles, home to the LA Lakers, LA Clippers, LA Kings, LA Sparks and the Grammy & Emmy Awards has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, creative and detail oriented Chef.

This position supports the Senior Sous Chef in our main production kitchen serving our 180 luxury suites and premium catering.

The ideal applicant has several years of experience in mid to upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, high volume banquets & catering at the Sous Chef level or above. Standard Chef administrative skills including scheduling, purchasing and budgeting are required. Strong computer skills and some F&B financial knowledge are required.

Cleaning and sanitation are as important as food production and quality, the ideal candidate needs to live and breathe this standard.

We are in the business of cooking and serving delicious food, so you need an unwavering dedication to producing and delivering the highest quality.

This position oversees a union staff, so experience in that environment is a plus.

Our busy season aligns with the NBA and NHL seasons, during the summer you would have the opportunity to travel to support other sports and entertainment venues in the Levy Restaurants portfolio. Levy Restaurants provides food, beverage & hospitality for events such as the Kentucky Derby, The US Open Tennis tournament, the Superbowl and playoffs, the World Series and playoffs, and NHL & NBA championships and playoffs, NASCAR and other motorsports, and many more.

Salary 67,000- 75,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.
