Our Sourcing Intern has an outstanding opportunity to develop professional expertise and contribute to a specialized team. For this opportunity we are seeking a college student interested in working full time during the summer of 2019. This intern will work closely with experts in the area of specialization or on teams to address critical business needs.
Sourcing Interns may have the opportunity to:
Work with business unit engineering to update projects which are in progress but not project managed
Work to analyze data and look for price discrepancies and other anomalies for savings opportunities
Identify and present savings opportunities to Strategic Sourcing Managers
Work projects that could include data analysis, pricing, and assortment recommendations, and ROI determinations on strategic initiatives
Support the development of cost modeling tools for strategic buying efforts
Collaborate across different organizational levels, functions, business units, and geographies to realize procurement goals and objectives
Prepare bid packages and analyze results
It is anticipated that successful execution could lead to significant career opportunities within the Lennox organization.
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry Level.
Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong Excel, Data analysis and financial skills. Also need strong presentation and project management skills.
