Job Title & Objective
Sourcing Specialist, NAM, SERVICES, Naperville
The candidate will work on project specific needs for PARTS platform. Applying all AT philosophy, methods and tools in order to provide the QCD on all parts proposed to our customer, always striving for a reduce time to quote to our customer.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Coordinates the Supplier base in regards to QCD for PARTS, Identifies and resolves problems related to Supplier QCD in a timely manner; gathers and analyses information skilfully, Works well in-group problem solving situations. Develops and implements cost saving measures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Support the Sales team for a new Bid or Tenders in a proactive way from a sourcing perspective.
Investigates and/or interviews potential suppliers to determine if they meet the specified requirements.
Advises team members or management on the appropriate supplier to be used.
Coordinates all activities related to Supplier Selection as per procedure, beginning and ending with QCD.
Assures cost price analysis to be applied on all considerable Materials to promote cost reduction for the Project. Negotiates with suppliers the lowest possible cost for the commodity based on QCD.
Defines the supplier QCD commitments, regularly measures performance with Supply Chain and Quality, and manages the suppliers to improve overall QCD performance
Owns and Manages Supplier Contracts to comply with Company policies and Government regulations.
Market and Business Understanding
Requires to have a good sound base knowledge of North American Market, any international knowledge is an added value. Needs to have fair understanding of OEM requirements and to use common sense to make decisions on supplier capabilities.

Engineer School is desirable but not mandatory.
Experience (Essential Functions)
2 yrs. Experience in sourcing environment, Purchasing, Contract management.
Cost analysis, Budget commitment, Cost reduction initiatives and negotiations skills.
Microsoft Office, Outlook, SAP,
Oral Communication - Listens and gets clarification
