Hexcel is currently seeking a Sourcing Manager for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location. We will also consider the following Hexcel locations: Casa Grande, AZ; Seguin, TX; Decatur, AL; and Pottsville, PA.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• Managing the sourcing of indirect external spend as assigned for the Americas region.

• Leading and being responsible for sourcing suppliers, developing suppliers and building mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers.

• Determining best options and make recommendations by evaluating total cost and quality of indirect materials and services across a diverse range of categories.

• Procurement of critical indirect materials and services to meet forecasts, production/maintenance requirements, and aggressive capital project schedules.

• Acting as an instrumental part in innovating, developing, and implementing leading procurement category strategies, identify and leverage company-wide spend opportunities where applicable.

• Leading complex negotiations and represent Sourcing in specific site level negotiations. May involve multiple sites with very high spend across multiple categories.

• Liaising between sites, suppliers, and stakeholders for assigned projects and initiatives and implement relevant indirect categories strategies as assigned.

• Defining and implementing KPI's to track performance.

• Provide direction and support to teams for initiatives critical to the business including assist sites and Global Indirect Sourcing Director, with spend budget (AOP) and STRAP.

Qualifications:

• University Degree in science, engineering, economics, or business, MBA is a plus.

• Five plus years sourcing, purchasing, finance, or supply chain experience. Must understand contract management.

• Proven track record of successful experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace manufacturing environment strongly preferred.

• Result-oriented with strong written and oral communication skills.

• Influential leadership, dynamic, self-motivated, skilled negotiator, commercially astute with good interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a highly matrix organization.

• Strategic thinking, problem solving skills, creative thinking, and intelligent risk taker. Category strategies formulation experience.

• Strong organization and project management skills.

• MS Office including advanced Excel skills to support analysis (pivots, charts, macros, etc.)

• ERP system experience in the finance and/or procurement/supply chain area (Microsoft platforms, SAP, etc.)
