Role Summary:

The Onshore Sourcing Manager will own the sourcing vision, strategy and deliverables for the product line.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sourcing activities for the Onshore product line to support and meet business and functional objectives working alongside other Flexible Pipe Systems businesses to align strategies

  • Establish sourcing strategies for direct and indirect spend in line with Flexible Pipe Systems strategies to meet or exceed op plan deflation targets

  • Communicate with Sales and Ops teams to understand current and future demand/requirements

  • Develop a strong relationship with operations, engineering and Product Line teams to partner in driving key sourcing and business objectives around cost, cash, supplier quality, next generation product and fulfilment

  • Ensure compliance with BHGE sourcing policies, procedures and export control regulations

  • Reduce risks in supply chain by minimizing single / sole source situations

  • Drive emerging market growth strategy

  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement of sourcing processes and cycle time reduction through consignment, VMI.

  • Provide benchmarking and industry intel support in make vs. buy strategies and decisions

  • Manage supplier relationships and develop strategic partnerships

  • Balance both tactical execution with strategic initiatives necessary to drive cost reduction projects

  • Partner with Global Commodity Leaders (GCLs) to implement cost out strategies

  • Work closely with HSE & Quality teams to ensure supplier compliance in quality and safety standards.

  • Own Procurement / Fulfilment activities and KPIs; On-time PO placement, On-time Delivery (OTD), Supplier Promise Date / PO Promise Date accuracy, Deflation, Adherence to Supplier Contracts / Pricing, and invoice resolution

  • Drive business cash initiatives supporting inventory and AP


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, MBA is a plus

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement/Sourcing or supply chain, In-depth knowledge of strategic sourcing/procurement business acumen, principles, and best practices; current with relevant trends and applications

  • Strong computer skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Excel

  • ERP knowledge and experience required

  • Excellent ability to communicate with internal customers and suppliers

  • Strong negotiation and contract skills.

  • Financial acumen

  • Proven analytical and organizational ability

  • Knowledge of Flexible Pipe Systems product lines and the associated supply base specifically polymers and tapes

  • High level of integrity and ethics, able to handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and confidentiality

  • Change management

  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment

VIEW JOBS 10/30/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-01-28T00:00 Role Summary: The Process Engineer is responsible for technical support and guidance on a day-to-day basis for Field Services operations, also ensuring that the equipment is in good working order & available at the correct time for planned services. In addition, the PE is also accountable for the Standard Operating Instructions (SOI's) and 'best practice' working procedures. The PE is also responsible for ensuring that the work follows the best practices set out in all areas of its function. Responsibilities: * Risk assessments lead, conjunction with Engineer, Operators & HSEQ presentation. * Identify lifting plan requirements. * Identify potential risks/hazards across all operations and act accordingly. * Ensure compliance to the Health and Safety policies * Complete any necessary new machinery equipment checklists and risk assessments. * Conduct / Support investigations following any incidents / accidents that occur. * Complete Incident Reports when required. * Actively support Management initiatives in the improvement of Health, Safety and Environmental targets. * Decrease CoNC by reviewing run data & identifying new and/or methods. * Review of Incident and process inspection reports * NCR Disposition * Ensure 5C condition is implemented and supports the sustainability of the operations. * Participate in or lead CI activities. * Make data available for the justification & Identifying manpower to carry out CI activities. * Participate in Lean Development program and utilize Lean Techniques. * Recommend improvements to procedures, equipment and operation methods for each operation to lead to more effective working practices. * Participate in vendor & technical meetings (if requested). * Act as liaison with suppliers & customers (internal & external when requested). * Complete MWR's for new items of equipment manufacture or repairs. * Identify new equipment and tooling requirements * Formulate SOI's for new approved methods & new equipment. * Review root cause analysis and recording of downtime. * Review and approve necessary documentation (Procedures, SOI's, and Risk Assessments etc). * Completion of pipe tooling and specification reviews. * Sign off on Operator competency. * Ensuring Operators adhere to procedures & SOI's via audits. * Develop broad knowledge and understanding of FPS Onshore products. Qualifications & Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical preferred Desired Characteristics: * Experience working in field locations * Leadership or management experience * Natural problem solving abilities using the '5 why?' technique to help determine root cause. * Engineering and management software experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Solidworks, * Strong decision making ability with ability to influence business decisions in a constructive manner. * Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule forms.
