Support the Procurement team in all efforts related to achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), primarily with respect to Supplier Quality, Delivery, Cost and Service
Produce sound analytics, reports, and tools for Supplier Delivery trends, as well as recommendations for focal points to improve overall supply base On-Time Delivery performance
Analyze and provide thorough insight of Supplier Cost, in an effort to recommend the best Total Cost of Ownership through extensive utilization of Danaher Cost Management tools
Own all Procurement aspects of the New Part Creation (NPC) process that relates to activation of new items in support of New Product Development (NPD) launches and Marketing Campaigns
Lead the Procurement portion of Supplier Qualification, Classification, Approval and On-Boarding Process
Improve existing Procurement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and create additional SOP's that define standard methodologies for all Procurement processes in order to standardize and simplify workflows
Creation and improvement of existing Procurement systems and reporting, including but not limited to Supplier Scorecards, Dashboards for better Visual Management of KPI's, transactional processing of Purchase Orders, and others as requested
Develop and execute project plans with respect to sourcing strategies that contribute to Global Savings targets
Negotiate Long-Term Agreements with top suppliers to mitigate supply chain risk and improve supplier performance potential
Participate in teams led by Corporate commodity leaders, as appropriate
Champion Commodity Team initiatives throughout OpCo
Reports to the Procurement Manager
Interacts with various Procurement team members frequently (Buyer/Planners, Materials Manager, Sourcing Analyst, Planning Team, and others)
Interacts with Segment Ops / other Danaher Procurement professionals
YoY improvement in supplier Delivery and Cost
Reduction in supplier leads times, MOQ's, and inventory
Successful project management through execution of Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and Value Analysis, Value Engineering (VAVE)
Improvement of working capital (DPO)
Reducing Non-Value Add (NVA) time allocation in Systems/SOP's
Iv. Requirements for the position
Education: Bachelor degree required. Advanced business degree (e.g. MBA) beneficial
Experience: 1 to 3 years overall business experience in manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, supply chain, or other procurement roles
Functional Training: Demonstration of continuing education in sourcing and supply chain

English fluency required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to optimal present information, influence, persuade, and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, peers, and suppliers. Additional language skills are beneficial. Minimum travel expected 10% is required and may be exceeded these levels at times. Travel regions may include but are not limited to Europe, the US, and countries in Asia or South America.
