Description: SUMMARY: Performs ultrasound imaging procedures on all patients to provide interpreting Radiologist an accurate clinical history of patient signs and symptoms.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Responsible for performing all patient ultrasound imaging procedures. Gathers patient history data and completes worksheets with exam findings for Radiologist.

Performs general upkeep and housekeeping of exam rooms. Assists with imaging center workflow by helping with general duties as deemed necessary (burn discs with images etc.) Requirements: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent experience Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred CPR certification, and Active ARDMS or ARRT(S) Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification 1-2 years Ultrasound/Sonography experience preferred PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Strong interpersonal abilities Excellent telephone skills and etiquette Maintains confidentiality Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique and basic health and safety precautions applicable for work in a clinic setting Use and apply medical terminology appropriately Service orientation Ability to relate sensitively to patients' needs Well-organized PM22 PIa015fe0b2110-25448-34408656
