• Half Time, days. 20 hours a week.# $5,000 Sign on#Bonus!!# Boulder Community health is seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform high quality diagnostic Ultrasound exams in the areas of Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Pediatric, and small parts imaging. You will assist the Radiologists with procedures and ensure optimal patient care. Must pass Abdomen, OB/GYN and Vascular to become a Sonographer Level# #Certified in BLS by end of conditional period #Sonographer Level 2, 3 and 4 are based on additional certifications in High Risk OB(HROB); Musculo-Skeletal; and/or Fetal Echocardiography. #Intricate knowledge of anatomy and physiology. # #Ability to determine pathological processes and adapt to exam protocols and techniques when necessary to optimize quality of exams #Well versed in medical terminology #Excellent problem solving and interpersonal communication skills #Must be able to work independently.# Responsibilities #Provide quality patient care #Performs US exams, using good judgment in scanning, understanding all anatomical measurements, and documenting anatomy/pathology #Assists the Radiologists and other physicians with interpretation of exams. #Assists the Radiologists and physicians with US guided invasive procedures. #work closely with radiologists and other physicians. #Transports patients to and from department or other areas within the hospital. #Monitors and cleans US equipment and reports equipment malfunction to biomed and the supervisor. #Works toward the goal of quality assurance. #Works #on-call# after hours.
