As a Sonographer in our practice, you will function as a champion of patient care in performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians and ensuring patients comfort.


  • Scheduling ultrasonic diagnostic procedures and preparing patients for what to expect and explaining procedures.

  • Performing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures including positioning patients and selecting the appropriate transducer.

  • Manage processing and documentation including developing film, making hard copy images, documenting tests, and ensuring department records, reports and files are correct.

  • Maintains ultrasound equipment and notifies management of faulty equipment.


  • Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program is required.


  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sonographer is preferred.


  • Must be certified in diagnostic ultrasound in accordance to state regulations.

  • Current DMS or ARDMS license is required.

  • Must have at least one registry either OB, Abdomen, or Echocardiography based on need.

  • Current BLS certification is required upon hire and must be maintained.
