Position Description
The IT Support Technician II's scope includes providing technical support and assistance to departments, faculty, staff, and students with the use of basic hardware and some software support and maintenance. This position will also specialize in hardware and software relevant to the department or unit. Preferred Qualifications
Attained the A+ certification
Detailed understanding of workstation, laptop, and other device set-ups
Be able to effectively communicate verbally & in writing regarding computer issues and\or determine course of action effectively
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize projects in order of urgency
Ability to assist and identify varied levels of computer issues
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, MIS, IT, or other related area plus one (1) year related full-time paid experience OR a combination of related education and/or experience to equal five (5) years.
This position is subject to the CMS vaccination mandate.
