Chief Purpose of this position: We are seeking applicants for a Neuroradiology faculty position to provide specialized neuroradiology imaging interpretation of CT, MR, perfusion imaging and MR spectroscopy as well as perform image guided procedures for diagnostic purposes including fluoroscopic-guided lumbar punctures, myelograms, cisternograms and CT and MR cerebral and spinal angiography. This subspecialty examines abnormalities and disorders of the brain, face, head, neck, peripheral nerves, and spine. All imaging is fully digitized using recently upgraded, state of the art equipment.
Position Responsibilities:
Required Qualifications:
ABR certification or documentation of passing the Core Component of the ABR Board examination
Fellowship trained in Neuroradiology
Candidates must demonstrate experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU
Candidates must be eligible for a Virginia medical license
Candidates must be eligible for permanent employment in the USA
