The primary purpose of the role is to lead and coordinate the development of
solutions for ATS Business service lines. Provides leadership to the Java, Web,
Mobile, EDI, Reporting support and development functions.
Education and Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience leading group of Software Developers for both
custom applications, support and management of existing suite of solutions.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related technical
Experience and possible certification in Agile Software development process.
Great customer service, communication, and transparency required.
Experience in software development life cycle management.
Expert Knowledge of software development best practices.
Demonstrated experience in team building and collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Plans, directs, monitors, and controls systems development.
Consults with management regarding project specifications, determining
information requirements, boundaries, and priorities.
Prepares and supplies management with analyses/reports/resource estimates to
determine project feasibility and develop, evaluate, and revise project goals.
Analyzes company information flow and proactively seeks efficiencies.
Establishes Solutions Systems budget and strategic plan, ensuring that all
company and department goals and deadlines are met.
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and partner with internal
Subject Matter Experts.
Works with Project Managers and Business Analysts to ensure requirements are
clear and programmable.
Continuously seeks to improve departmental quality, efficiency, and
productivity standards by creating, updating, and/or revising company processes,
tools, and resources, (i.e., forms, procedures, technologies, motivational
Manage a growing team of talented software developers, including Senior
Developers and Software Architects.
Supervises and coordinates the activities of developers group and active

Effective management of department annual operating budget, cost center, AP
Partner with Human Resources in the recruiting, interviewing, selection,
on-boarding, and training of new employees.
Monitors employee performance, conducts employee performance appraisals,
recommends promotions and salary adjustments and offers assistance and direction
Provide effective employee performance management utilizing SMART goals,
timely and constructive feedback, coaching for improvement, and progressive
