Support the design, implementation and ongoing delivery of solutions that help Exelon Clearsight achieve desired business results, with a focus on solutions that leverage technology. Leverage agile development principles to help guide the planning and execution of the work. Some solutions will be delivered directly through individual contribution. Other solutions will be delivered through the coordination of supporting team members, teams and solution providers.

Technology areas include:

  • drones, robotics and sensors (and supporting data capture technologies)
  • artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning, computer vision, data analytics, predictive analysis
  • 2D/3D virtual modeling, digital twin
  • application design, development and support (client server, web, mobile)
  • system, infrastructure, data and security architecture
  • cloud platforms & services (IaaS, PaaS, Saas)
  • system interfaces, API's and data exchange

Contribution areas include:

  • Help manage the spend, priority, governance and oversight of Exelon Clearsight technology investments.

  • Help ensure the Exelon Clearsight technology roadmap is in alignment with Exelon Clearsight business strategy.

  • Help identify best practices through system, process, business analysis.

  • Support and potentially lead system integration and data conversion efforts.

  • Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with corporate colleagues, clients, prospects, and vendors.

  • Manage/help manage small and large-scale projects of varying complexity, size and change management risk.

  • Support the communication of Exelon Clearsight efforts and successes, as well as education of various stakeholders on innovation culture, principles and processes.

  • At times may deploy into field to support execution of various client-centric service delivery activities.

This role reports up through the Lead Solution Delivery Architect for Exelon Clearsight and may impact any of the business lines and functional areas throughout the organization.


  • Design and implement solutions that meet business objectives as well as financial, time and quality targets (delivered through internal efforts and/or via partners)

  • Requirements gathering

  • Architecture / Design

  • Development

  • UAT planning & execution

  • Participate in, and where appropriate facilitate, agile management model meetings

  • Adhere to Exelon standards and guidelines for system implementation efforts, per direction of Exelon Clearsight leadership team

2.Ensure operational support for production solutions and services

  • Provide general support to solution users & stakeholders (answering questions, providing training)
  • Provide on-call support/ensure it is available (break-fix support; may include weekends and off-hours)
  • Support client engagements as needed (potentially deploy into field, help generate deliverables, attend meetings at/with clients to plan, execute & review deliverables)
  • Anticipate and perform proactive maintenance & enhancement of production systems (to ensure operational viability & stability)
  • Maintain technical and reference documentation (technical, process, training)

3.Maintain active engagement with technical trends and solution partners

  • Maintain technical and business knowledge/acumen & skills, including emerging trends and technologies

  • Establish, maintain and enhance relationships with corporate colleagues, clients, prospects, and vendors.

  • Schedule and facilitate meetings between technology partners and technology partners and business unit resources

  • Attend and participate at conferences

4.Manage, or help manage, and support small and large-scale projects

  • Client-engagements

  • Technology platform evaluation, selection and deployment

  • Data conversion

  • Platform integration

5.Provide support to leadership efforts as requested (such as technology budgeting, roadmap alignment, new employee or contractor hiring and onboarding)

6.Promote and support a culture of diversity, teamwork, collaboration, stewardship and shared learning within Exelon Clearsight and across the greater Exelon family of companies.



  • 5+ years working on technology-focused solutions teams; strong knowledge of business practices in technology and/or software development, including agile development principles

  • Experience working with the technology areas highlighted in the "Primary Purpose of Position" section

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology, Engineering or other applicable field

  • Self-starter with ability to effectively work with minimal oversight and manage workload

  • Ability to set and deliver on assignment and priorities within tight timelines and high expectations.

  • Experience with project planning & execution, in both oversight/management and individual contributor roles

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to balance strategic & tactical considerations

  • Demonstrated success in establishing relationships and networks with teammates, peers and other collaborators

  • Ability to work within a virtual team environment (i.e. team members in remote locations, online collaboration tools, etc.)

  • Ability to effectively translate business needs into potential technology or process solutions and/or communicate them to solution providers, vendors, etc.

  • Familiarity with technology, innovation and start-up culture

  • Creative thinker, intellectually curious, and interested in emerging technologies.

  • Strong judgment and excellent analytical ability.
