The Solutions Consulting organization at Sabre Hospitality Solutions (SHS) is responsible for positioning and crafting a value proposition to achieve high-level business outcomes for our hotelier customers. They are consultative in their approach and product/technical experts, partnering with Sales and Account Management (SAM) teams to ensure the best possible solution is presented to customers and prospects. They orchestrate their efforts to find an optimal product implementation which ensures maximum alignment between SHS capabilities and customer requirements.
The Solutions Consultant is a product functionality expert who can partner with SAM teams to sell solutions to new and existing customers by building a viable value proposition. They own the product activities required throughout the sales cycle from creating highly engaging presentations, mutual discovery conversations, value-based demonstrations, defining customer business requirements, to developing and running proof-of-concept initiatives through deal execution. They develop product presentations and participate in the development of customer business cases and SHS return-on-investment (ROI) models to assist SAM teams. This role works closely with SHS Solution Architects and with customers to design and execute on new solutions that drive revenue, shorten product time to market, and reduce cost.
Participates in the proactive review and response of sales opportunities and RFPs for new or existing customers
Understands and interprets customer business needs and drivers
Maps the capabilities of our platform, products, and services to create a solution that meets customer needs
Determines how best to meet customer business needs through product configuration or identifying where product enhancements may be needed to address gaps
Engages throughout the customer engagement life cycle from requirement gathering through implementation
Demonstrates our products, services, and proposed solutions to customers and prospects
Collaborates on solutioning efforts with SHS Solutions Architects, Product Managers, Developers, and Security Team
Assists with on-boarding and mentoring of Solution Consultants within the team
Experience working with Sales/Account Management teams to build a competitive solution and value proposition
Exceptional presentation and communication skills and customer presence
Outstanding project/program management skills
Knowledgeable of the hospitality distribution landscape and the SHS product portfolio
Qualifications / Experience:
5+ yrs of consulting/solutioning experience
Bachelors/Master's degree or equivalent experience
5+ yrs Experience in Hospitality/Distribution industry
Experience implementing complex projects PMP certification a plus
Knowledge of technical concepts and SaaS product models
