Solutions Architect - Quote Desk

Responsibilities

Sentinel is looking for a Solutions Architect Specialist to join our Quote Desk team. The Solution Architect Specialist supports both Sales staff and field Solution Architects in their day-to-day operations. This position will focus on storage and server systems quotes providing critical sales support services to Sales and Sales Support personnel including Bill of materials, quote requests and providing technical research. This position can be remote but must provide occasional support onsite at our Downers Grove, IL office.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of technical product builds for multiple manufacturers and distribution partners including, but not limited to the following VARs:

• Cisco Systems

• Palo Alto Networks

• Fortinet

• Dell/EMC

• HPE

• Singlewire

• TD/Synnex

• Ingram Micro

• Must have excellent communications skills as this role requires vendor and client communications on a regular basis

• Must be detail oriented

• Must have knowledge of:

• Microsoft Excel

• Microsoft Word

• Manufacturer and distributor ordering and fulfillment systems

• Understand manufacturer part numbers and attachment rules

• The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment

• A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required

• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

• Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude
