Product Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Work with delivery teams, existing customers, industry technical experts and growth and capture teams to understand the market demands, competitive pricing , current capabilities, and future direction of you assigned Shared Managed Service product.

  • Assist delivery teams in understanding service innovations and market demands while providing guidance on delivery models and technical architectures that are scalable and cost effective.

  • Create BOE's and capacity forecast for products working with finance and program control resources to create budgets and cost per unit estimates for assigned products.

  • Lead technical solution strategy integrating our Managed Services Products and other Technical Services Solutions throughout the Capture and Proposal lifecycle, from early Qualification through Proposal submission

  • Contribute to GDIT win strategies and the development of technical win themes by utilizing technical solutions and resources from GDIT's Technical Services Delivery, Innovation and Growth teams.

  • Maintain and develop solution design artifacts, including, but not limited to architectural models, process diagrams, concepts of operation, product SOW and catalog documentation.

Solutions Architect / Proposal Leadership Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead sections of various proposals relating to our products and managed services solutions.Support proposal team to prepare a compelling and compliant response to the government solicitation

  • Work with other Solutions Architects within the team to assist with proposals

  • Coach and advise more junior solution architecture and proposal support resources

  • Ensure integration of Technical Services Delivery solutions with all pertinent sections and volumes of proposals

  • Review proposals and provide critical feedback needed to strengthen our solution and proposals

  • Author Technical volume introductions, key sections and orals slides including developing compelling graphics

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field (preferred)

  • Successful experience architecting technical solutions and leading/authoring federal pursuits and proposals

  • Experience working in one or more IT domains that may include software development, IT infrastructure services, cloud, cyber security, data management services

  • Experience with the ITIL service delivery model

  • Experience with technical leadership and project management

  • Strong estimating, activity based costing, and cost modeling for proposed BOE using Excel or other tools.

  • Ability to successfully lead solution development and Technical proposal volumes for moderate ($50M-100M) to large ($100M+) size deals

  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment

  • Ability to effectively engage current and prospective customers to build trust and relationships, clearly communicate solutions and concepts, and influence action

  • Ability to write exceptionally and to create compliant and compelling narratives that best present GDIT's solutions and approaches within the government requirements and evaluation criteria

  • Ability to conceptualize and communicate or develop rich graphic visuals that help to strengthen the GDIT story and clearly and effectively communicate concepts and approaches

Other Qualifications

Creative thinking, problem solving, math modeling, time management and organizational skills

Strong human relations skills
