Solutions Architect
Aqueduct's Solutions Architects require both proven experience with technology and outstanding personal communication; they enjoy building solutions which leverage technology to meet our customers' business needs.
Reporting to the CTO, the Solution Architect works jointly with sales to provide pre-sales support, including tasks such as discovery meetings, site visits, presentations, technical assessments, and ongoing technical account support. A positive, team- and service-oriented personality is a must.
Solutions Architect Essential Job Functions:
Architect end-to-end designs which meet the customers' needs by assessing business and technical requirements and translating those into complete solutions.
Actively drive the technology evaluation stage of the sales process with our prospects of various technical levels and aptitudes
Work with and present to clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, design architectures, and deliver professional proposals.
Assist with driving new business, executing complex Proof of Concepts (POC), estimating implementation level of effort, and preparing Bill of Materials (BOM) and Statements of Work (SOW) from a variety of manufacturers and technologies.
Maintain relevant and advanced knowledge of products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competition, and technology trends through research, partner technical experts and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
5+ years of Enterprise Networking experience
3+ years' experience in a pre-sales role
Previous experience with a technology-solutions provider a plus
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
Architect-level knowledge in Networking/Wireless/Security with industry-recognized certifications
CCNA/CCNP or equivalent
CCDA/CCDP or equivalent
Ability to engage in any technology discussion, keenly identify the primary business issue(s), assess requirements, and appropriately align internal resources toward building a solution.
Problem-solve at a high level, multi-task and meet challenging deadlines.
Extraordinary customer service and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
Self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical thinking skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
